The beach of Cervia

During the summer, most of our activities revolve around the sea. Those who visit Pinarella often come to spend their days on the beach, which here boasts the characteristics of the Adriatic coast: vast expanses of fine sand, shallow waters that gently slope down, and a safe environment for children to play and swim just a few meters from the shore.

The International Kite Festival

The event of the year in Cervia, the one that fills the sky with thousands of kites from all over the world, is a celebration of acrobatic performances, educational workshops for children, exhibitions, installations, and a series of shows that have made this Festival one of the most popular events since 1981. The event, typically held at the end of April for 10 days, officially kicks off the season. In 2020, it marked its 40th anniversary.

Mirabilandia

One of Italy's most renowned amusement parks, a favorite among kids. We're confident that your kids, even those who are already teenagers, have asked you at least once to visit. There are numerous attractions tailored to the little ones, as well as numerous others where you can all have fun together. Kids love the Aquaqua area, a playground filled with water jets where they can splash each other. They also enjoy the Sioux Camp, where cowboys and Indians can compete, and Fantasyland, where they can ride the rides, perhaps alongside Otto and Mike, the park's mascots. At the hotel, you can easily purchase tickets for the whole family and skip the line at Mirabilandia!

The Cervia Salt Flats

One of the most beautiful nature reserves in central Italy, populated by fascinating animals such as pink flamingos, which have their home here and offer a spectacle to all those who can admire them. Here, where the Po Delta Park begins, a Wetland of International Importance, of which the Salina is the gateway to the south. An area of 827 hectares just over a kilometer from the sea, where from April to August salt is processed and still collected today in a traditional way, making the Sale di Cervia a typical product recognized throughout Italy and beyond.

Did you know that at the Saltworks you can take guided tours along its nature trails? There are various experiences including walking and boat trips, sunset excursions and those under the stars. We have tried them firsthand and recommend them to everyone because we were amazed.

The Salt Route

Salt plays a central role in the history of Cervia. In addition to the saltworks, the historic center of Cervia is home to the San Michele Tower and the Salt Warehouses, which in the 1600s served as a storage facility for thousands of tons of salt. The Salt Museum is also located here, where you can explore the tools of the era: equipment for extracting and processing salt, as well as historical documents, including photos and videos. You can visit the museum anytime, no ticket required.
